This podcast talks about the famous artist Cindy Sherman and her different ways of interpreting stereotypes of women. I go ahead and talk about how she prefers the more grotesque looks rather than looking beautiful. Every image of hers shows different personas she plays along with a couple of "beauty" shots. I feel that learning how to make podcasts can help my classroom setting by having the students be able to listen to lectures and have them be able to pause and play when they need a moment to grasp the concept. It can also help students be able to refer back to these podcasts to relearn the lesson.
The program I found is called Tayasui Sketches and it allows people to be able to draw digitally. Some pros about this application is that it contains so many features for free such as pencils, markers, paintbrushes, and a blending pencil to be able to use when drawing. It can be used on a computer and a smartphone and the application is free so students won’t have to pay for this application. When pulling it up on a computer the application allows you to choose what size you want the paper to be and it also allows people to be able to choose what type of paper they would like to use for their art projects such as watercolor paper, a canva, small grain, pressed, etc. Some other pros about this application is that it contains three different notebooks where you can keep your own original art saved. Not only are people able to keep their own drawings but there seems to be an option to be able to post your drawings so people can comment and like other peoples art.
Some cons about the application is that although you can use your phone for it, it doesn’t allow you to choose what size you want the page nor does it give you the option to be able to choose what type of paper you want to use. Another con I would say is that it's a bit difficult for me to be able to draw smooth curved lines so I feel that a stylist could help with cleaner lines.
Other than that I feel that the app itself is very useful and easy to use when creating digital art. And I loved the amount of mediums I can use to create different art pieces.
